Promoting journalism.
Since 2011, the taz panter foundation has been bringing together journalists from all over the world — including from countries that are political enemies. Through international workshops and editorial programs, they produce collaborative research, new formats, and lasting professional networks.
To date, over 1,500 participants have benefited from our programs. We specifically support people from regions where press freedom is restricted and independent journalism is under pressure.
Connecting perspectives.
The taz Panter traineeship opens up journalism to voices that are otherwise heard too rarely. We support aspiring journalists with diverse backgrounds and provide them with the craft, the networks, and the space they need.
With the annual Panter Prize, we honor civic engagement — for individuals and initiatives that take a stand where others remain silent.
